NTL has joined the Euro Pallet Network, an online platform for booking pallet shipments from across the EU to the United Kingdom. With this membership, NTL is expanding its offering for companies sending smaller shipments to customers in the UK.
Since Brexit, every shipment to the UK requires customs documents, regardless of its size. For exporters shipping one or just a few pallets, the administrative burden can exceed the value of the order. The Euro Pallet Network was created to make such shipments easier to calculate, book, and clear.
How the platform works
The Euro Pallet Network connects shippers across the EU with pallet delivery to the United Kingdom. Several freight forwarding partners collaborate within the network, including Cross Border Express, Euro Customs, Mercium, and NTL, which collectively move more than 5,000 pallets daily.
Booking is completed entirely online. The shipper enters the shipment details, receives an instant quote, and confirms the order within minutes. UK import customs procedures are included in the same booking, meaning exporters do not need their own expertise in UK customs clearance.
There is no framework contract and no minimum volume. Each shipment is booked and paid for individually. This is particularly suitable for businesses whose UK orders fluctuate from month to month. The collection window is chosen during booking, and the shipment can be tracked all the way to delivery.
